Ministry Review Oct. 23 - Oct. 2024

This report is an overview of the scope and work of the Lone Star Pastor Care Network from September of 2023 through August of 2024.

At the beginning  of September 2023 there were 102 members of the network.  As of October 9th, 2024 there are 134 members of the network. Our pastor’s wives network also includes 40+ wives.  The network now extends into multiple states, Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina and South Carolina.  We also have one member from Arkansas who is working on the mission field in Mexico.   

The ministry served these individuals and many of their wives in the following during these last 12 month:

In the past 12 months the ministry has logged almost 18,000 miles in conducting ministry, in 3 states. This includes leading in preaching conferences, mission conferences, preaching appointments, interim pastoring position, revival meetings and individual care and support.   

The financial giving to the ministry allowed us to provide emergency support of over $ 3,500.00 to 9 pastors and their families.  After the last hurricane we were able to provide just over $ 1,000.00 to 6 pastors.

Using technology has expanded in the past year as well.  The ministry hosts multiple weekly online gatherings to support and encourage pastors.  Group book studies, an expanded social media presence and web presence, and leadership team meetings were included.  This format proved to be not only successful but more financially efficient in building relationships.

The growth of our pastor’s wives network also went through a bit of a change.  We added Sister Irma Ramos as the director of the work and she has provided multiple meetings and our first wives one day conference this past year.   

This past year network staff connected with members well over 10,000 times via phone and texts. There were times of great celebration and times of deep need.   

The ministry added 6 new giving units this past year.  The monthly expenses for the network have now met the monthly income and the prayer of the coming year is to see new donors come on board.  The network is supported by individuals, families, churches, and local associations.
